About the Project
Concept
This project was born from Mod Miko's love of firefighter Yuuji in fandom headcanons. Smash that together with those fun firefighter pin-up calendars and you get a burning desire to make it a reality!Goal
The main goal of this project was to create and fund a physical 2023 calendar. The project also included a digital version of the calendar and other merch items.Project Rating
PG-13. Though there is no full nudity, no explicit genitalia, and no explicit sexual activity allowed, it is a sexy firefighter calendar and contributors were allowed to be as suggestive as they wanted within project parameters.Theme & Content
Each month of the calendar is set to feature a different character. Being a "pin-up" style project, our theme revolves around the idea of "hot firefighters." However, contributors were free to interpret the prompt however they like following the project guidelines.For-Charity
In keeping with firefighter calendar tradition, this project was for-charity. All funds raised first went toward project production, fulfillment, and project team compensation. Once these objectives were cleared, any leftover money was donated to a charity voted on by contributors: the CDP's Turkey-Syria Earthquake Recovery Fund.Contributor Compensation
A digital copy of the calendar and merch will be provided to all contributors. Physical copies will be provided depending on sales, and in the event funds are insufficient, we will offer all items at production cost.

Is there an age restriction?
All participants will need to be 18 or older by the end of the application period.What kind of contributors can participate?
We plan to have calendar artists and merch artists.How big will the calendar be?
We plan to have an 8.5 x 11 in. size hanging wall calendar. Digital wallpaper formats of the calendar will also be available.Will there be additional merchandise?
Yes, we plan to have a few items in addition to the main calendar.Will character pairings be allowed?
Contributors will be free to draw any combination of characters, however all relationships must remain platonic.Will both male and female characters be included?
Yes, definitely! Sexy transcends gender.Are all calendar artworks going to be 'sexy' pinups?
Not necessarily. Our project idea is definitely inspired by pinup calendars, however we will leave it up to the artists to interpret the “hot firefighter” theme. Whether that be with shirts off, washing firetrucks or with full gear on, fighting fires.

This is Miko's second time modding, but first time heading a project of her own. With that said, a firefighter calendar has too much potential to not be made so she's fired up to get this ball rolling.
